Find your download

  1. Look for the email from Gumroad

    Right after you paid, Gumroad emailed a receipt to the address you used at checkout. Its View content link opens your files. Search your email for “Gumroad” or “Fill In the Dots”, and check your spam or junk folder.

  2. Open your Gumroad Library

    If you have a Gumroad account with the same email address, your purchase is also at gumroad.com/library. You don’t need an account to buy, but you can create one later with the same email to see everything in one place.

  3. Choose your paper size

    US Letter is for the United States and Canada; A4 for most other countries. The pages are the same. Start with the Guide’s “Start here” page.

  4. Still stuck?

    Reply to any email you’ve had from Gumroad about this purchase, or create a free Gumroad account with the address you used at checkout and open your Library — your files are there.

Opening the files

  • PDFs: open in any PDF reader. To type into the forms, use a free reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, or Preview on a Mac, and save often.
  • The Research Workbook: opens in Excel or Numbers. For Google Sheets, go to sheets.google.com, then File → Import → Upload.
  • Printing: choose “Actual size” or “100%”, not “Fit to page”.
